Job Description
The Cardiovascular Technician performs diagnostic procedures that include exercise stress testing, 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiography, non-invasive vascular testing, and electrocardiogram editing. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires HS diploma or G.E.D.
Other Qualifications:
Graduation from a cardiovascular technician, certified nursing assistant, or medical assistant program preferred. Availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting. Strong computer skills preferred.
License or Certification:
Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.

Schedule Details: Technicians work Monday through Friday day shifts, but not limited to covering evening shifts. Staff rotates holidays and should expect to work at least 2 holidays a year.
Weekend Schedule: Staff rotate weekends and call shift shifts.
Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $16.47 per hour.
