Responsible for developing and maintaining the quality program for the laboratory/work unit in collaboration with management team. Represents the laboratory in all accreditation inspections and oversees the proficiency testing program. (002254-94324) Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science (CLS), medical technology (MT), chemistry, or a human biological science with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Other Qualifications: Experience in the development and management of a Quality Management System (QMS) is necessary. The incumbent will be expected to work with the laboratory supervisors of the CIM Medical Genome Facility to build a QMS for equipment, staff, laboratory services, and business processes using established laboratory QMS methodologies.
Clinical laboratory experience is preferred as well as understanding of basic clinical laboratory quality management concepts and regulatory/accreditation requirements. Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently exercising strong decision-making skills.
