Operates nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce images of specified areas of the body in accordance w/ instructions of the Radiologist and/or designated physician, using knowledge of radiopharmaceutical techniques & procedures, anatomical & pathological relationships, & the contour & composition of body tissue. Makes members/patients & their needs a primary focus of one's actions; develops & sustains productive member/patient relationships. Actively seeks information to understand member/patient circumstances, problems, expectations, & needs. Builds rapport & cooperative relationship w/ members/patients. Considers how actions or plans will affect members; responds quickly to meet member/patient needs & resolves problems.

Requirements |
Basic Qualifications:
- 6 months subsequent experience operating nuclear medicine equipment or completion of an approved nuclear medicine program within the last twelve months including registration or certification
- Completion of an approved training program in nuclear medicine technology plus currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in nuclear medicine or by the Nuclear Medicine Certification Board (NMCB)
- Ability to operate nuclear medicine equipment & perform related technical procedures
- Working knowledge of radiopharmaceutical techniques & procedures, anatomical & pathological relationships, & the contour & composition of body tissues
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively in a caring & courteous manner
May work variable locations and modalities, variable shifts, and variable hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
