Essential Functions:
Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanente's Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.

Requirements |
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work required
- LCSW or LMFT license required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Medical social work experience, preferred
- Experience with chronically ill, End of Life issues, catastrophic illness, family violence, psychiatric/substance abuse issues, federal and community benefits and resources, preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with adults / children / adolescents.
- Two (2) years post masters'
- Experience in crisis intervention
- Knowledge of psychodynamics, psychopathology, DSMIV, psychotropic medications, addiction medicine
- Ability to define appropriate course of treatment & treatment modality.
- Ability to work independently as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team
Notes:
- Rotation for Saturday clinic required
- Provides behavioral health care services to members utilizing established psychotherapeutic techniques in clinic or emergency room setting.
- Consults and collaborates with other mental health / medical professionals.
- May be filled by LCSW or LMFT
