The Senior Manager of Small Business Marketing Communications has overall responsibility for timely, quality development and execution of digital and print collateral to support Kaiser Permanente's Small Business line of business goals to build and maintain membership.
Essential Functions:
- Accountable for the performance and quality of work managed by the Small Business Marketing Communications team.
- Responsible for ongoing training and coaching of team.
- Leads the timely, efficient throughput of Marketing Communication materials from project intake through delivery to the business partner. Prioritizes, leverages, allocates and adjusts workload across the team. Drives efficiency through continuous tracking and process improvement.
- Drives solutions to marketing issues by providing a clear point-of-view and knowledge of business that enables the team to make business decisions and move projects forward on time.
- Utilizes understanding of Health Care Reform and its impact on the Small Business market to translate complex information into clear and compelling marketing strategy.
- Builds strong, collaborative relationships with key partners in Marketing Communications, Direct Marketing, Event Marketing and Small Business Line of Business.
- Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanente's Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and license requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedure

Requirements |
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 8-10 years of related business and management experience required, including advertising agency and client (corporate) experience and two (2) years of management experience OR master's degree and four (4) - seven (7) years of experience.
- Preferred: At least eight (8) years of content/functional experience and three (3) - five (5) years of management experience.
- Bachelor's degree required Marketing, Advertising or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues in simple terms, both verbally and in written form via Creative Briefs and more complex strategic recommendations.
- Demonstrated project management skills, from concept through completion.
- Experience and proficiency with software programs: Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
