The Registered Nurse position exists to telephonically triage and assess Kaiser Permanente members and direct them based on protocols to the appropriate level of care.
Essential Functions:
- Triages and assess members by utilizing symptom based protocols and directs member to appropriate level of care
- Conducts, documents the nursing assessment of patients by collecting, and documenting objective and subjective data in an accurate and timely manner
- Demonstrates clinical proficiency, accountability, and adherence to policies, standards of care, safety and security regulations, and internal and external regulatory guidelines
- Utilizes critical reasoning in clinical decision making

Requirements |
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience within an inpatient or telephone advice nurse setting within the last five years.
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited school or college of nursing
- Current, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio is required
- Computer and phone proficiency
