This position evaluates the systems, policies and procedures for Sales Operations Functions and plans, executes, and finalizes performance improvement initiatives. He/she develops procedures and tools for new and existing Sales Operations functions, including sales compensation, broker metrics, sales process analytics, and other operational aspects. He/she supports the broker sales process by coordinating broker events, providing broker training and communication, and producing reports that monitor and evaluate broker effectiveness.

Essential Functions:
- Evaluate current, new and proposed systems and procedures and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Define scope, timeline and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Director, Sales Operations, LOB and S/AM leadership.
- Develop full-scale project plan timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, and associated communications documents, including drafting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes.
- Effectively communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Develop policies and procedures for operational functions within MSBD, with focus on broker licensing and appointments, commissions, sales compensation, compliance, sales processes, GCFs, AORs, etc.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations to support improved efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Build strong inter-departmental and cross-functional working relationships to support GA Strategy.
- Broker Performance and Compensation Analysis and 5500 Reporting: Prepare, analyze and report findings on broker sales and activity, commissions and bonuses, dashboards, event and entertainment expenses, etc.
- Broker Bonus Programs: Develop in conjunction with Sales Management, coordinate advertising with MarCom, develop and maintain tracking and ROI reporting, audit payment calculations by Membership Administration.
- Broker Events: Coordinate annual broker meetings, broker advisory council meetings, conventions, tradeshows and special projects. Duties include event budget planning and ROI reporting, venue contract & scheduling, logistics, coordination / planning committees, Continuing Education (CE) filings.
- Sales Incentive Compensation: Develop, in consultation with Program Office and external consultants, the annual Sales Incentive Plans for S/AM. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales incentive payments, in consultation with HR, including audit and validation of sales figures provided by internal stakeholders.
- S/AM Performance Analysis and 5500 Reporting: Prepare, analyze and report findings on sales and account management activity, dashboards, event and entertainment expenses, etc.
- Monitor and access the process and procedures for SalesConnect data entry, maintenance, usage and reporting.
- Serve as System Administrator and Subject Matter Expert for SalesConnect and Active Strategy. In this role, he/she consults with end users to answer any process and system related questions, assigns users' access and ensures that only active employees in the sales and marketing area have access.
- Serve as project manager for all system enhancements. Responsibilities include feasibility evaluation, scope management, business case creation, process flowchart design, business liaison to programming team, project communication with stakeholders, User Acceptance Testing, training manual creation and user training.
- Represent region on SalesConnect Change Control Board conference calls.



Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, healthcare or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PMP Certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in insurance, managed care or healthcare organization.
- Must be an expert user Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project and Access.
- Previous experience with a CRM application.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong service orientation and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.


Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in healthcare administration, accounting, finance or business related field strongly preferred.
- Successful public speaking experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with CRM, SalesForce and Active Strategy tools strongly preferred.
