The Diversity and Inclusion Health Outcomes and Compliance Specialist acts as a project manager for care delivery oriented Diversity initiatives, such as member demographic data collection and linguistic services. Maintains regional interpretation and translation policies, manages vendor relationships. Manages the Qualified Bilingual Status program for the region. Supports development and execution of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes. Coordinates documentation for NCQA Accreditation and CLAS standards.
Essential Functions:
- Health Disparities and Outcomes - Member Demographic Data Collection.
- Monitors and analyzes member demographic data collection rates.
- Assesses regional support needs for collecting member demographic data.
- Increases regional awareness of need for demographic data collection.
- Enters member demographic data into KPHC.
- Linguistic Services: Manages Qualified Bilingual Status program.
- Maintains policies and procedures regarding interpretation and translation services.
- Monitors effectiveness of linguistic services, including member and physician satisfaction.
- Manages relationship with language services vendors.
- Reports on key metrics around linguistic services usage, member and provider satisfaction, and financial implications.
- Compliance, Regulation, and Accreditation:
- Supports NCQA Accreditation Team, prepares appropriate documentation.
- Ensures compliance with CLAS standards.
- Diversity and Inclusion Department Support: Manages department website.
- Facilitates Diversity and Inclusion learning solutions.
- Collaborates with all Diversity and Inclusion colleagues to execute programs and initiatives.
- Responds to RFPs.

Requirements |
Basic Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience working w/ Diversity and Inclusion concepts and programs.
- Three (3) years of project management experience in a complex environment.
- Two (2) years of experience with Affirmative Action work.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Knowledge of CLAS standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex organization with a diverse workforce.
- Strong analytic skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of facilitating Diversity and Inclusion programs preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience in a health care environment preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR, OD, communications preferred.
- Fluent in more than one (1) language preferred.
