Description

 

Monsanto is currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Management Associate to join the Agronomy and Environmental Sciences (AEAS) Tech Center Quality Management Team.   The successful Quality Management Associate will be primarily responsible for supporting the activities of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) – to work in all operations that support the QMS and the AEAS Quality Program.   This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative and solutions-minded quality team as we apply the principles of the ISO standard to the tech center teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·          Monitor and maintain the Corrective/Preventive Action process, ensuring proper application within teams; Ensure verification of effectiveness of Corrective/Preventive Actions

·          Conduct QMS internal audits, vendor/supplier audits

·          Assist in preparation for quarterly Management Review Meetings; Monitor QMS team KPIs

·          As the ISO Representative to functions within the AEAS Operations Excellence team, candidate will assist functions with quality planning, development of procedural documents, monitor function non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions

·          Work closely with AEAS teams integrating into the QMS – including conducting gap analyses, process mapping, project/integration planning and driving implementation, progress monitoring.

·          Serve as a key resource for all teams within AEAS providing various QMS-related training, root cause analysis support, document and record control support, quality issue management, and GLP application and support

·          Support and promote the quality culture within the AEAS tech center; continually improve the effectiveness of the QMS.

·          Provide quality support and process solutions to internal field hubs as well as US/ex US field cooperators.

·          Serve as a liaison to the Regulatory Quality Assurance Unit to implement quality initiatives or improvement opportunities within AEAS

·          Control forms; maintain the QMS Controlled Library; manage document revisions; maintain QMS controlled lists; assist AEAS teams SOP revision/development.



Requirements

 

Required Skills/Experience:

 

·          Minimum B. S.   degree in one of the biological, chemical, or agricultural   sciences

·          Strong working knowledge and experience with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems

·          Demonstrated commitment to customer focus and process improvement

·          Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

·          Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects through completion

·          Ability to work well in a team environment

 

Desired Skills:

 

·          Experience with the application of Good Laboratory Practice Regulations

·          Working knowledge of MS Access, Excel applications

·          Excellent organizational skills

·          Demonstrated initiative; proactive with attention to detail

·          Auditing experience preferred
