Crystal Reports/ Applications Developer

Location: Irving, TX

Job Summary:

This position will report to the Manager, Application Development. This role will be responsible for the creation and modification of Crystal Reports development for the Lawson ERP. In addition, the position will be asked to participate as a backup developer to another Report Developer already established on the team in another functional area.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design Crystal Reports for Finance and Accounting.
• Code SQL statements to extract data for Lawson ERP tables.
• Work with business analysts and QA to effectively and efficiently move new or existing reports from conception to completion.
• Provide development skills in other areas of the team as a second level of support. This might be either Crystal Reports or SSRS reports depending on the application.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with reports development
• Minimum 3 years' experience with Crystal Reports
• Minimum 3 years' experience with SQL development (Oracle preferred, but not required)
• Minimum 1 year experience with financial and accounting reporting development
• Experience with SSRS is a plus
• Knowledge of Lawson is a plus
• Knowledge of General Ledger is a plus
• Knowledge of data warehouse reporting is a plus
• Experience working in an agile software development environment is a plus
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel.
• Must possess good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Professional communication skills, both written and oral, and people skills are required
