Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at Orange Park Medical Center, a 285 bed hospital located in Orange Park, Florida (near Jacksonville metropolitan area).
Position reports to Clinical Nutrition Manager and selected candidate will:
Utilize the nutrition care process to provide in-patient nutrition care to the general patient population with multidisciplinary rounding. The position also has responsibilities for outpatient Cardiopulmonary program and community wellness outreach programs
Be responsible for providing care to a wide variety of patients, working with multidisciplinary team to enhance patient satisfaction through the current patient services program. Candidate will also work a rotating weekend schedule
Be an active part of a dynamic team delivering nutrition care services within the facility and community. Have strong communications, customer service skills and be able to work pro-actively with the medical staff & multidisciplinary team
Meditech will be the new electronic patient charting system, prior experience a plus

Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
