24095 - Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a General Manager/Director (IV) of Dining Services for Cedar Village Retirement Community in Mason, Ohio. Mason is the largest city in Warren County, which is near the southwest corner of Ohio.
This is a 250+ Resident Kosher Continuing Care Retirement Community, ideal for a Senior Level General Manager of dining services with Kosher Kitchen experience.
Ideal candidate is a Certified Dietary Manager with a Culinary Degree and a Servsafe Certificate. Position is responsible for 2.5 million in financial volume, 5 managers who manage 50 hourly employees, all dining venues and catering.
Position interfaces with the Client and Residents on a daily basis to listen to and look for opportunities regarding customer service enhancements and program innovations.
Position has an active role in managing the daily events and operations related to kosher dining, customer service, cost controls, and will provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively with several generations in the workplace to exceed Resident and Client expectations.
The candidate's success in this position is measured by positive outcomes in Resident and Client satisfaction, regulatory and standards compliance, financial management, manager and employee development, and continued success with the Sodexo contract at this location.
Reporting to the District Manager, the ideal candidate has previous experience in a hotel/ resort / country club or retirement/independent living community.

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
