Currently Experis is working with one our leading Fortune 100 clients to find bilingual Network Engineers with specific experience working with Cisco routers and switches, WANs and networking protocols. Our client is looking for dynamic, energetic, and inquisitive people, who are comfortable working as part of a global team to complete network change implementation successfully. This is a contract opportunity, but the manager has expressed that the right professional may be extended beyond the initial term. The ideal professional will have the following experience and be available immediately or within two weeks.
Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Irving, TX
Work Requirements: Must be eligible to work in the US, no visa sponsorships available at this time; ability to pass a drug and background
Compensation: DOE medical and dental benefits available
Requirements (DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE RECENTLY USED THESE SKILLS)
- Must be bilingual in Spanish for technical and network troubleshooting purposes
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification required
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Cisco routers and switches
- Strong working knowledge of WANs (T1s, T3s, Frame Relay, ISDN etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of at least three of the following routing protocols: EIGRP, IGRP, BGP, OSPF, RIP
- Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, BIND, wan accelerator, server load balancing is preferred
- Working knowledge of scripting languages and other web development tools a plus
