Description Application Development/Tech Service Representative * Use product end-use and application knowledge to address customer requests. * Create and execute product application/translation projects to drive business growth in adhesive applications. * Work with a global team of application scientists to identify new additive/polymer combinations to address unmet market needs. * Utilize scientific problem-solving methods and statistical experimental design concepts to develop technical data needed to complete projects * Manage project information via stage gate and other project management systems. Write technical reports and invention disclosures. * Provide formulation assistance and technical service to customers. * Conduct and/or coordinate lab experiments using products and various polymer raw materials. * Travel is required up to 25% of time. Qualifications: * Prior experience in an Applications Development/Technical Services or similar scientific problem-solving role preferred. * BS/MS or PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering with a minimum of 5 years practical experience. * Must be able to travel up to 25% of time.
