Physical Location: Chrysler Headquarters & Tech Center
The HVAC design and release engineer will be responsible for compressors, refrigerant lines, a/c label and refrigerant.
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university; other degrees and equivalent experience mayb be considered.
* Minimum of 3 years engineering experience
* Minimum of 3 years experience in HVAC
* Other plumbing design experience (fuel lines, cooling lines, etc.)
* Minimum of 2 years experience with NX and Team Center
* Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
* Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R)
* Self-starter and motivated to produce results
* Good communication skills.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
* Five years in HVAC with knowledge of refrigerant loop
* Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)
* Automotive assembly plant experience
