Physical Location: Chrysler Headquarters & Tech Center

The Electrical Engineer - EE Active Chassis is responsible for electrical and electronic integration of the electric power steering systems. Responsibilities include hardware and software design reviews, software requirements/management, electrical DVP&R, vehicle function management and plant processing. The electrical engineer will work with the Chassis engineer and supplier to make sure all vehicle function requirements published by the EE Systems team are met. The engineer will also provide vehicle build support from the mule phase through production.

Basic Qualification:

* Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university;or other bachelors of science degrees will be considered.
* Experience in the engineering design and development of electrical components in the automotive industry
* Self-directed with the desire to assume the center of competence role for electrical power steering
* Excellent communication and presentation skills required to support design/development process
Preferred Qualifications:

* Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
* Experience using CANalyzer
* Experience with Chrysler Diagnostic Application
