Physical Location: Chrysler Headquarters & Tech Center
The Design Lead -- HVAC will lead component technical development from concept selection to commercial launch. The candidate will also support the development of component standardization and reuse, design rule harmonization, best practices, lessons learned, functional objectives, psi, and standards. The candidate will review and approve technical content of related support management in all resource coordination requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree from an ABET accredited institution
* Trained in DVP&R, DFMEA, DFSS & TTF
* 5 yrs of product/vehicle development experience
* Minimum of 2 complete vehicle cycles preferred
* Specific component experience required
* In addition to technical competency, position requires high level of communication/leadership competency
* Functional use of internal Chrysler systems (CN,ECIMS,CCD,CODEP, EBOM,WIS etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
* Proficient in MS office software
* DFSS Greenbelt and or Reactive Greenbelt preferred
