Visual Design Intern
Location: Oakland, CA
ABOUT THE KAISER PERMANENTE INNOVATION CONSULTANCY
We are a national Kaiser Permanente team of creative people who use design thinking to innovate in healthcare. We come from diverse backgrounds from nursing to design strategy and rapid prototypers. Our interdisciplinary approach lets us engage with frontline staff, management and patients to design and implement solutions that improve the care experience for our patients and the work experience for our care providers.
THE POSITION: VISUAL DESIGN INTERN
Our team works on a variety of projects, creating a breadth of design tools in multiple mediums. As a visual design intern, you will translate project requirements and user needs into designs that are visually exciting, easy to use and emotionally engaging. You will also collaborate with and work along side the lead designers from the onset of the program.
Internship start date would be 06/02/13 or 06/17/13
