Description

Administrative Assistant, Regulatory Law Team, St. Louis, MO.
 
Major Responsibilities :  Administrative Assistant in Law Department to support four (4) attorneys.  Provides administrative, secretarial and clerical support for team in a variety of areas, including:  letter, document and presentation preparation; budget and invoice processing and management; scheduling travels and meetings; managing record-keeping systems; and client interaction.  Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:  special projects; maintenance and filing of bar association and CLE records and certifications; outside counsel engagement letters; team member project tracking; expense reports; and document management.
 
Must interact effectively with Law department staff members and management, internal company clients, outside counsel, and trade association executives and staff.


Requirements

Qualifications/Competencies:  
·         High School/ GED required.
·         10 or more years of administrative assistant experience required. 
·         Legal experience strongly preferred, but will consider extensive executive assistant experience. 
·         Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.  Proficiency in Team Connect and Concur a plus.
·         Successful candidate will have the ability to exercise independent decision-making, convey a positive, professional and accommodating attitude toward clients and other team members, actively participate as a team member and foster a team atmosphere, and work well under pressure. 
·         The applicant should have demonstrated task organization, prioritization and time management skills And act as a self-starter who is willing to take initiative, and is flexible and comfortable with changes in work assignments. 
·         Discretion and the demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality are mandatory.  Excellent oral and written communication skills, courtesy and knowledge of office and business etiquette are essential. 
·         Accuracy and attention to detail while working under strict time restraints are also essential.
