Position Description:

 

This Community & State Health Plan-specific Project Manager is the primary intake point for operational issues from the Health Plan and owns issues through triage and resolution.  Issues are often complex, escalating in urgency and require identifying and engaging those accountable to solve, largely within Benefit Operations (e.g., Enrollment, Claims, Appeals & Grievances, Network Operations, Configuration, etc.).  Will involve multiple functional areas collaborating on resolution, including service partners outside of Benefit Operations (e.g., UHN, IT, Optum, etc.). Will work closely with C&S Performance Excellence & Accountability on new business implementations.  Will require developing collaborative relationships with business partners that have day-to-day management responsibility for Community & State operations.




Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree OR a High School diploma/GED with 5+ years work experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrix environment that requires influence, negotiation, communications, documentation, data analysis, and collaboration skills.
  • 4+ years of project management or account management experience.
  • 4+ years experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS MS Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint required; MS Visio preferred 
  • Community & State or Benefit Operations background is required
  • Knowledge of COSMOS, Diamond, Facets, CSP, or NDB platforms preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate both clearly and concisely via verbal and written communications.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
