The Team Lead Senior RN will work collaboratively with the RN Manager/RN Director and Medical Director of Urgent care to provide quality patient care. Gives direction and support to staff member. Supports the overall vision of the Positive Patient Experience by achieving a positive balance of healthcare, cost outcomes and patient satisfaction. Provides direct patient care. Provides team leadership in the absence of the Manager or Director. Ensures standards of care are implemented and compliance with all state and federal regulations, standards of practice, and company policies and procedures. The job includes rotating on-call time. The applicant will possess a willingness to coach, mentor and educate staff in which they supervise.
***3 (12 hour) Night Shifts 7pm-7:30am***
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coordination and quality of care of Urgent Care patients.
- Assist clinical support staff with compliance with clinical, company policies and procedures, state and federal regulations and standards of care; and ensures standards of care are implemented and met.
- Provides supervision to clinical and non-clinical staff daily.
- Provide direct patient care and delegates to staff as appropriate.
- Develops and monitors staff assignments on a daily basis and re-evaluates as needed
- Responsible for managing and directing patient flow in the Urgent Care and assist with oversight of the Treatment Center and Cardiac Observation Unit. (COU).
- Participate in the selection, hiring, orientation and development of clinical staff.
Positions in this function include RN (with current licensure) and are responsible for overseeing and participating in day to day clinical care of patients. Employees are involved in direct patient care in an urgent care setting.
