Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Nevada State Board of Nursing required.
- Completed senior preceptor clinical rotation at an SMA clinic and recommended by SMA preceptor preferred.
- Active unrestricted RN license in the state of Nevada required.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider (BLS) certification or willing to obtain with in 30 days of hire.
- Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Knowledge of current nursing practices. Understanding of limitations and willingness to seek out resources and assistance.
Skills:
Ability and willingness to accept and utilize supervision. Maintain professional attitude toward confidentiality of clients records and conversations. Effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Functions at the Advanced Beginner stage of nursing practice
Critical Thinking:
Advanced Beginner to Competent critical thinking based on employer's competency evaluation. Able to complete assessment, develop plan of care, implement interventions and interact with all members of the interdisciplinary team. Seeks frequent validation of clinical decision from expert level mentor and provider of record if individual feels they are not competent in a skill set.
