Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center a 55 bed hospital, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Heart Hospital of New Mexico is a part of the Lovelace Health System and specializes in cardio vascular and heart care. Responsibilities include inpatient, outpatient, community programs and classes, oversees activities of dietetic intern, diet educations/inservices, and tray assessments and meal rounds.
Position will report to General Manager and ideal candidate will:
Provide nutrition services to in-patients units in the hospital (ICU, Med/Surg.)
Assist with outpatient (diabetes, cardiac patients and support to nutrition education programs and classes) as needed
Be a member of the nutrition team and work closely with the General Manager to provide nutrition services at the hospital
Have prior experience with the Nutrition Care Process and Electronic Health Records a plus
Must be a Registered Dietitian and eligible for New Mexico licensure

Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 years work experience in health care including
hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term
care, retirement homes, or clinics, meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
