Sodexo is seeking a Per diem Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team as a at Fremont Rideout Hospital a non profit community facility located in the center of Marysville, CA. The hospital has 127 licenced beds and is a non union environment.
Position will report to General Manager and the selected candidate will:
Be responsible for providing nutrition care as needed to the inpatient population utilizing the nutrition care process and electronic medical record charting
Work closely with the clinical team to provide excellent patient care
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely in a multidisciplinary team setting
Conduct nutrition patient assessment and provide diet education as needed
Educate patients and family members as well as hospital staff in concepts of nutrition and diet modifications

Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this
position.
