Sodexo is currently seeking a Retail Manager to join our team at Redlands Community Hospital in Redland, CA. This 229 bed acute care facility is widely recognized for personal, attentive care, along with comprehensive, high quality service and serves the Inland Empire, East Valley, San Bernardino Mountains and San Gorgonio pass regions. The Retail Manager position is responsible for food quality, customer service, and cash management in retail food operations and will report directly to the General Manager. The Retail Manager will be responsible for the supervision of staff, will ensure customer satisfaction, and will assist in the maintenance of cash control and payroll records. This position will work collaboratively with the Sodexo management team to enrich the overall customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast paced retail environment, preferably in healthcare, as well as supervisory experience. Ideal candidates must have the ability to be self-directed, manage and execute multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
