Public Health Seattle & King County (PHSKC) is widely known for its innovative work in tackling the underlying causes of poor health and health inequities, such as poor nutrition or lack of physical activity. Obesity is a leading preventable cause of poor health and targeted efforts are need to address the large racial, income, and geographic health inequities that exist within King County. To realize our goal of health equity, we are working collaboratively with multiple and diverse stakeholders to implement evidence-based practices and advance policy and system changes that will result in environments that encourage healthy eating and active living.
This term-limited temporary, full-time position is responsible for the administrative support within the Healthy Eating & Active Living (HEAL) and the Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program units. The individual in this position will provide clerical support services for staff in both units and their community partners.
We are seeking an individual who is committed to health equity. This position will have hands-on experience working in diverse, economically disadvantaged urban environments and who will excel at working in a collaborative manner on creating healthy communities.

Work Location: This position will be located in downtown Seattle, in the Chinook Building, 401 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA, 98104.
Work Schedule: This position will work full-time, or 40 hours per week. The schedule is flexible within the normal work week of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evening work may be required on an infrequent basis.
