Work with the Safety Services leadership team to develop and progress globally applicable safety services tools and applications. Will have exposure to multifaceted environment and supporting tasks related to technical, regulatory, software, commercial, and managerial functions. Will interface with local project team, product development team, field engineers, and globally safety team to implement common tool sets.
Work with Safety Services team leads, project managers, operations manager, and consultants to continue to develop, revise, and implement standard operating procedures
Develop internal process and tools for safety assessment software, RASWin
Assist in the development of standardized marketing materials
Support development, revisions, maintenance, and daily use of project management software platform
Review current tools and advise potential improvements to make Services BDL's more successful
Investigate what is needed to make MSS Global team more Global / Consistent in operations
Must be permanently eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or part of the Brazil Mobility Program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
Must be working towards a bachelor's of science degree in Engineering or other technical discipline from UW-Milwaukee, Marquette University or MSOE
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Must be able to work part-time during the school year
Interest in discrete manufacturing/automation engineering, machine safety, regulatory compliance interest, and/or process improvement methodologies
Willingness to learn and train on safety legislation, e.g. OSHA, IEC, ISO Safety standards (61508, 61511, 62061, 13849, etc), or equivalents.
