Job Summary:

This position must use critical thinking, analytical reasoning and strong customer service skills to receive, analyze and give relevant advice and course of action to employees and customers prior to, during, and after the occurrence of a crime, disturbance and/or emergency.

Core Responsibilities:

Monitoring panic and burglar alarms at various retail locations is a key responsibility, as well as being responsible for the operation of Emergency Management System (Suncall, MSDS, Chemtrec and Crimespotter).
Responsible for utilizing established policies and procedure to ensure the safety of employees and customers.
Position is also responsible for conducting Security and Safety training as required.


Requirements

Required:

Must speak and write Spanish and English fluently.
Some college education is essential, but individuals must also possess basic computer skills as well as excellent oral and written communication competencies.
A strong interpersonal talent is vital and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously is necessary at all times while remaining calm during emergencies.
You will be exposed to potentially violent crimes through live audio and video surveillance and must have the capacity to handle these while maintaining confidential information.

Preferred:
BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Computer Science or Communications.
Knowledge of personnel security, customer service and retail sales a plus.
Product safety and emergency response experience is beneficial.
