In this position, the Engineering Intern, Systems Architect will participate in the design and implementation of prototype and experimental software, as well as the development of features within saleable software products. The intern will be exposed to current and emerging software technology and will explore ways in which that technology may be used for the development of saleable software products. The intern will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of software platforms including traditional thick client desk top as well as current and emerging thin client and mobile technology.
Two or more years of undergraduate education at a local college (MSOE, Marquette University, or UW-Milwaukee), working towards a B.S. or M.S. Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering field
Proficient on Windows based computers, mobile devices including Apple and Android and Microsoft Office
Proficient in the development of Windows based software using C++ and .NET technology
Required Work Authorization: Permanently eligible to work in the US
Available to work 40 hours during the summer and between 15-20 hours during the school year
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Experience with creating Windows PC Applications using Microsoft Visual Studio 2013+
- Experience with Java, Python, Node.js, Eclipse, WebStorm
Proven ability to interface verbally with varied levels of an organization
Proven personal organizational skills
Previous co-op or intern engineering experience
