Position Summary:


This position oversees the development of strategic market/product line business models in designated market segments; identifies lead customers; and develops key partnerships.  Responsible for conducting make- versus-buy analysis from a partnership/acquisition perspective.

Responsibilities


  • Initiate proof-of-concept projects based on market analysis, research, data and industry trends.


  • Conduct business evaluation of third party services, technology and platforms for potential partnerships.


  • Synthesize research findings and craft data into compelling presentations.


  • Works on complex and ambiguous issues were analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.


  • Manage strategy projects and lead joint teams in creating timelines and tracking progress.


  • Understand current industry trends and to aid in the establishment of sound business practices.


  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.



Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.


  • A minimum of eight years strategy / marketing experience, in management consulting, corporate development or similar in scope in the technical sector


  • Experience  with large data analytics,  cloud, wearables, software, Industrial Internet of Things

  • The ability to lead high-level discussions on technology strategy and approach with tech and non-technical stakeholders

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills to interface with cross-functional internal teams, external customers and partners


  • Ability to collaborate and foster a positive collaborative ecosystem
