This position oversees the development of strategic market/product line business models in designated market segments; identifies lead customers; and develops key partnerships. Responsible for conducting make- versus-buy analysis from a partnership/acquisition perspective.

Initiate proof-of-concept projects based on market analysis, research, data and industry trends.
Conduct business evaluation of third party services, technology and platforms for potential partnerships.
Synthesize research findings and craft data into compelling presentations.
Works on complex and ambiguous issues were analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Manage strategy projects and lead joint teams in creating timelines and tracking progress.
Understand current industry trends and to aid in the establishment of sound business practices.
Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
A minimum of eight years strategy / marketing experience, in management consulting, corporate development or similar in scope in the technical sector
Experience with large data analytics, cloud, wearables, software, Industrial Internet of Things
Confident external and internal, written and verbal communicator
Strategic, high-energy thinker who can develop creative analytical solutions to complex problems and critically evaluate their success and failures to make adjustments when needed
Ability to adapt through fast-paced, high-intensity environments, without losing sight of the bigger picture
The ability to define business and product strategy based on research, data, up-to-date technology and industry trends
The ability to lead high-level discussions on technology strategy and approach with tech and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to identify and engage key technology partners to support execution of strategy
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills to interface with cross-functional internal teams, external customers and partners
Ability to collaborate and foster a positive collaborative ecosystem
High tolerance for ambiguity and a fearless bias to move forward without knowing all the answers
