Application Engineering interns perform project-oriented work implementing systems with Rockwell Automation products to meet unique customer requirements. The intern will be a member of a project team working under the direction of a Project Manager.
Primary duties can include:
Project Status Report Development
Project Meetings via Phone or at Customer Location
Assist Project Managers with projects tasks including change requests and document processing
Assist Project Managers with financial analysis and lessons learned
Function Design Review
Must be permanently eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or part of the Brazil Mobility Program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
Must be working towards a bachelor's of science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Strong communication skills - verbal and written
Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent drafting program
Must be able to work part time during the school year
Currently enrolled at UW-Milwaukee, Marquette University or MSOE
Preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Some Exposure to Rockwell Automation products
Interested in becoming a Project Management Professional - PMP
Met a Rockwell Automation representative at campus or national conference career fair to be considered
