Associate Director/Mechanical Engineer

NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY seeks applicants for an Associate Director/Mechanical Engineer in our Facilities Management Dept. who oversees the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and management of engineering, energy services, constructions, electrical, and plumbing service activities for NMT campus buildings, infrastructure, and facilities. Oversees the engineering component of strategic planning of buildings and infrastructure, campus facilities management projects, and renewal of the existing campus environment. Directs the engineering support program for the university facilities management department and directs the development and operation of the University's energy management system. Directs the programming, scheduling, and accounting of the Campus Construction Team. Provides a full range of professional engineering service, in support of campus-wide Facilities Management construction, repair, and facilities planning programs. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 7 years' experience required.
