This position is responsible to lead and develop the global PCB team to support NPI and Continuation for RA.
Provide and understand industry trends that will continually improve the teams' capabilities.
Continue to drive the PCB Design Team to grow as the "Center of Excellence" for RA.
Performs scheduling, project planning & effective utilization of global PCB resources, including the management of global partners.
Assures adherence to PCB design standards.
Creates and maintains strong collaboration and partnership with BU Product Engineers and Product Development personnel.
Coordinates activities and schedules of PCB Designers with Project Managers. Assigns personnel to projects to maintain TTM.
Acts as a liaison for Engineering Services to BU's and partners.
Assures projects meet or exceed customer requested timelines.
Accelerates projects, removes barriers, and enables effective execution.
Selects, maintains and evaluates qualified personnel in all positions.
Identifies training needs, develops team, and recommends effective personnel action.
Teams with DES Technical Project Manager and Technical Lead to standardize PCB processes and technology. In addition, teams with these individuals to develop technology roadmaps and ensure the continued advancement of disciplines across the enterprise.
Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO9001, ISO14000, etc.) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent degree or education.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a (NPI) new product introduction environment.
Demonstrated experience with electronic assembly and production issues associated with electronic design, including board sourcing.
Experience working on industrial products.
Proven track record of functional expertise with increasing responsibility.
Knowledge of electronics and electronic assembly.
Management of people or Project leader, ideally across multiple locations.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
LSS Green Belt Certified.
