Position Summary:

This position is 1st shift with the hours of 7am-3:30pm.

Responsible for reading and understanding appropriate documentation required for product assembly.  Must perform assembly and wiring operations on any type of unit or panel design, as well as completing all tasks to layout, modify (if necessary), assemble, wire (power/control) and follow workmanship standards for a quality product.


  • Ability to read and comprehend order sheets, Manufacturing instructions, prints, drawings, diagrams and schematics

  • Ability to identify components on diagrams/assembly prints.

  • Ability to relate diagrams, symbols, schematics to physical components

  • Assembly of panel mount structures

  • Installation of internal panel components and power and control wires

  • Perform all modifications to product as needed

  • Install doors, door components, and any external components as needed

  • Meet quality and productivity standards

  • Follow safety requirements including PPE

  • Ability to operate various devices such as overhead cranes, tilt tables, power lifts, and hydraulic lugers

  • Do CRT/PC entry and paper work as necessary

  • Break down an order packet and understand the assembly functions

  • Assemble doors

  • Plug inserts, hang doors and do all functions to finish the product

  • Assembly of non-plug in units (transformers, breakers, bolted pressure switches, etc.)

  • Wire harnessed transformers or other designated electrical components

  • Assist with resolution of order related problems

  • Possesses clear understanding of job and related machinery, equipment, products, paperwork, policies, and procedures

  • Successfully completes required cross-training and job rotation programs
