Develops and maintains preventative maintenance processes for facility tools and machinery
Manage quality control processes including First Article Verification, Final Product Validation, and Component Quality Verification
Performs maintenance as needed for mechanical tools and machinery for the facility
Maintains and improves product manufacturing processes in coordination with Test Engineering and Production Management
Responsible for monitoring throughput yield data and engaging in yield improvement projects
Prepare reports on quality related metrics summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
Conducts tasks/audits in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, etc.,) at regular intervals
Drive efforts to improve defect per unit (DPU), Productivity, Internal Rate Return (IRR), and Internal Plant Quality (IPQ) with a focus on training, defect prevention, and continuous improvement utilizing Lean Improvement Tools
Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards and protocols
Issues Corrective Action Requests (CAR) for nonconforming material or process issues
Understands who customers are and listens to the voice of the customer for problems and identifies improvement opportunities; ensures that all work activities add value (directly or indirectly) to the customer and/or partnerEnsures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies include, but are not limited to: Standard of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO9000 & ISO14000 Standards, governmental regulations, and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation Information Network
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Electro-mechanical knowledge of machines and tools used in a manufacturing environment (wave solder machine, motors, calibrated torque tools, etc.)
Six Sigma Green Belt Preferred
Background in quality control and statistical techniques OR 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience
Previous experience with Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) preferred
Familiarity with SAP preferred
Must be well-versed in Root Cause Failure Analysis and corrective actions using the 8D Methodology, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, cause and effect diagrams, Process Capability Studies, and Measurement Systems Analysis
