Senior Controls Engineer
A manufacturer of quality screen, roll formed metal components, metal embedded co-extrusions, vinyl extrusions, and fabricated assemblies servicing a variety of industries is hiring for a Senior Controls Engineer. The Senior Controls Engineer will be working under limited to general supervision and will be responsible for controlling multiple project activities in the areas of controls, pneumatic systems for product design and manufacturability. They will be responsible for leading change within the organization by developing concepts through customer demand and capital planning, advancing to justification and implementation. These changes mold the business and provide large gains in profitability.

This position requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience to prove capabilities. Minimum of ten years' experience as an electrical or manufacturing engineer or related engineering field. Along with significant experience in project management. Knowledge of metal and plastic design and fabrication with extrusions, roll forming process, molded parts and light assembly desirable. Ability to operate CAD system efficiently. It is a necessity to have good written and verbal communication skills to support interaction with all external and internal customers. This individual should be dependable, self-starting and able to work under pressure. This position will support the Quanex Homeshield division, and will include an approximate travel requirement of 35%. This position may be based in our Rice Lake, WI location or our Moundsview, MN location.
