SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Engineering Co-op works under the direction of a firmware design engineer performing system modeling, testing and tools development for sensor and safety product development.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.


  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills.


  • Able to multitask and handle a large amount of detail.


  • Quick-learning self-starter who works well with a dynamic team.Accept and complete in a timely manner the assignments delegated to


  • him/her by his/her manager or supervisor.



Minimum Qualifications:


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Working toward a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related degree


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Demonstrated knowledge of C/C++ and/or other middle to high-level language


  • Individuals must have a demonstrated record of technical competence, interpersonal skills, leadership ability and, a strong desire for achievement

  • Good written/oral communication skills
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Permanently eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.




DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 


  • Knowledge of Python

  • Knowledge of GIT or other source control tool
  • Interest in Microprocessor design

  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes and other basic laboratory equipment


  • Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing
