Sodexo Health Care Services provides essential food and facilities services to hospitals across the country. We are seeking a Senior Area General Manager. Our Food Service General Manager will be responsible for implementing Sodexo systems and managing the day to day operations for the food and nutrition services

The ideal candidate will be well versed in food service operations, food and labor cost controls, while also having proven success in driving Patient Satisfaction results. The ability to articulate ideas, thoughts, opinions, professionally and clearly within all levels of the organization is critical. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

  • Integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted advisor and member of the accounts leadership team
  • Achieve continuous improvement in patient satisfaction scores
  • Meeting (or exceeding) Sodexo standards of operations (Gold Check)

Position Summary

Top in-unit leadership position for a system of accounts. Single point of contact for client liaison to drive and support the expectations of Sodexo Divisions while supporting our mission and values. This position would support system/multi-site business that in total is greater than $10 million in managed volume (mega accounts) with one or more core services, ES, Eng, Food. The position would support the selling strategy of targeting large system sales.



Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 4 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
