This is an excellent ground floor opportunity for a bi-lingual (English/Spanish) self-starter with a strong desire to help, grow professionally and produce high quality results within a rapidly growing company. This role reports to the Marketing Manager, but also supports Sales VPs, Regional Sales employees, and the CEO.
Purpose / General Description: The Sales and Marketing Assistant provides critical administrative support to the Sales and Marketing efforts of the North American and Latin American subsidiary of Boon Edam, a global entrance manufacturer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Support the marketing team in implementing tactical events and tradeshows (including a few in Latin America), campaigns and programs, and provide project and administrative support. Some shows will require physical attendance and support.
•Preparation of Excel reports as directed by Marketing Manager and Sales Management.
•Translation of marketing and sales copy into Spanish (for Latin America). Also review longer translated works.
•Monitors and manages incoming sales leads from the website and processes for sales.
•Execution of email campaigns as needed for either North America or Latin America.
•Monitors inventory of marketing and sales materials. Distributes printed materials as needed to Sales.
•Updates Spanish website as needed.
•Administers electronic content on interactive Sales tool and website (North America and Latin America).
•Manages inbound leads from events and tradeshows cleans the data and imports into CRM for sales follow-up.
•Research competitors on product offerings, pricing, as needed, etc.
•Interface with internal (especially the sales team) and external customers along with vendors of marketing services related to certain projects.
•Coordinate corporate mailings and direct mail, as needed.
•Assist with creation of CRM reports. Maintain and update CRM customer database as needed.
•Assist with coordination of technical training classes, and other special projects as assigned.
•Coordinate attendance for sales at small events and facilitate their equipment shipping and return (April is the busiest time of the year).
•Manage inventory of tradeshow equipment and promotional materials.
•Coordinate shipping of demonstration products to customer sites as needed.
•Other support and administrative activities as needed for marketing and sales department
•Admin executive support for CEO (i.e. Powerpoint Presentations and travel arrangements)
