Challenge yourself, your peers and our industry by shaping what health care looks like and doing your life's best work.(sm)           The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide direct administrative support to the senior leadership and team members of UnitedHealthcare Global. This role will include more traditional administrative/clerical support roles including: scheduling, presentations, spreadsheets, special projects, and processing requests for signatures on governance documents for role. Additional duties include answering the telephone, typing / word processing of documents, maintaining calendars and setting up meetings, making travel arrangements, copying, faxing, greeting visitors, setting up files, tracking expenses, and coordinating building and equipment maintenance.                   This is a fast paced working environment that requires the ability to multitask with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.              This position will also have some BSL (Business Segment Liaison) responsibilities including: New hire onboarding / offboarding, equipment ordering and set-up, software purchases and office supply ordering. Senior Administrative work will involve direct client interaction.               Primary Responsibilities:                Create / maintain calendars and coordinate meetings avoiding scheduling conflicts         Coordinate meetings; prepare agendas and meeting materials; take and prepare meeting minutes   Complete expense reimbursement and check requisitions   Prepare reports, ad hoc spreadsheets, professional presentations, etc. (i.e., monthly Operations status presentation, biweekly status reports, and organizational charts)   Close working relationships with business development leadership team and other key business stakeholder/leaders across the organization to ensure strategic prioritization   Schedule and implement staff meetings, events and offsite; including agenda management, meeting logistics, and material preparation       Schedule, coordinate, and/or set up resources and technology needed for meetings / events       Make travel arrangements for meeting attendees and host, coordinate, and/or facilitate meetings / external events as needed         Complete and correctly submit required Service Requests to support department needs         Track requests for on-time completion and take proactive measures to prevent missed deadlines             Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned  


Required Qualifications:             

High School Diploma / GED or higher level of education 
2 or more years of administrative support to senior leadership in a corporate setting
Intermediate or greater level of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:            

Bachelor's / Associates' degree or higher level of education
2 or more years of experience supporting virtual / remotely based leaders and staff in various time zones
Business Segment Liaison (BSL) or onboarding experience (or willingness / ability to become certified as a BSL) 
Intermediate or greater level of proficiency with Concur

Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
Soft Skills:

Experience working in a fast-paced, matrix organization
Must have a polished demeanor and be comfortable working with people at all levels  
Excellent verbal and written communication and grammatical skills 
Ability to  manage multiple tasks / projects and deadlines simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail
