GM of Myrtle Beach seeking a Purchasing Manager. As Purchasing Manager, you will be required to identify, locate, and research potential real estate projects for acquisition, development and renovation. Represent Grandeur Management Inc. in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with property and construction suppliers. Locate vendors of construction materials, equipment and supplies; interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales. Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment. Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies. Interview and hire staff, and oversee staff training. Must be able to compile this information and perform cost-analysis presentations to demonstrate which purchases project the maximum profit potential. Delegate daily duties and tasks to subordinates; conduct monthly reviews and evaluation of subordinates. The required accreditation for this position is a Bachelor's degree in business administration or management with 2 years experience.
