Description

Certified Medical Assistant (Bilingual)

Team Functions:

1.Demonstrate a commitment to a unified work force to all co-workers and departments.

2.Address complaints and concerns in a constructive and positive manner. Participate in examining deficient systems and processes and work within the team to identify and implement solutions. Identify sources of data that illustrate the problem and participate in the collection of such data.

3.Monitor medical records to ensure correct documentation and to anticipate provider's needs.

4.Complete delegated activities and projects within an appropriate time span and effectively prioritize and functions in emergency situations.

5.Prepare for Mutual Goal Setting sessions with supervisor and follow through with goals as they are set. 6.Work in accordance with the Morton mission statement as published by the Board of Directors.

Clinical Functions:

1.Under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor or another provider, provide competent, direct, and individualized care to assigned patients that is consistent with the standards of care and policies and procedure of Morton Comprehensive Health Service's and within MA scope of Practice, Utilize appropriate resources.

2.Provide patient education that is respectful and appropriate fort issues of culture, education, emotional state, and age.

3.Provide accurate translation for patients and providers.

4.Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe unit.
