Under supervision, responsible for delivery and pick - up of patient orders for medications, supplies and equipment in a safe, accurate, courteous, effective and timely manner. In addition; responsible for designated activities related to miscellaneous warehouse duties as required which may include cleaning and maintenance of infusion control devices, managing and disposing of hazardous waste, and general warehouse labor. This position requires ACHA Level II Background checks (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have face - to - face contact with members and will require renewal every five years. This is for Florida residents only.Primary Responsibilities:Creating a delivery ticket with listed appropriate supplies and pulls these in preparation for delivery (ensures orders are complete and ready for delivery)Contacting patients receiving deliveries prior to leaving office / shipping to confirm availability to receive delivery as able (confirm address / phone number)Transporting supplies and medication in a safe, clean manner in company owned vehicles to our patient's homesObtaining patient / caregiver signature, confirming receipt of medication and supplies at time of deliveryHandles medication / supply deliveries for the Infusion Pharmacy to cover the branch service areaAccepts add-on deliveries required to meet business needsClean and inspect company vehicle to ensure proper presentation and cleanliness when arriving at the patient's homesPerforms daily vehicle inspection and maintains vehicles in clean and proper working order per organization policy and procedureInforms supervisor of any mechanical problemsCoordinate paperwork and payment details with the patientsCommunication with the Branch or Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacy Lead regarding all patient questions and / or issuesPrepare driver's notes as neededMaintain a strong knowledge of the branch's geographic area and be able to assess the best routes according to the delivery scheduleAdhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality codes of ethicsPerforms pick - up of supplies and equipment at completion of patient therapy and completes appropriate paperwork for returned patient goodsPerforms various warehousing duties such as shipping, receiving, picking and packing orders and general warehouse organization and cleaning in accordance with established procedures


Requirements

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher)Customer service experience Must have a valid Florida Driver's License Ability to travel 100% of the time within the local area Comfortable working Monday through Friday starting at 2:00 pm until the job is done and an on-call weekend rotation (every other weekend)Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of production / warehouse experience Prior experience as a delivery driver Bilingual fluency in English and SpanishSoft Skills: Ability to read and follow written instructions Ability to accept direction and learn new tasks Ability to communicate both written and oral with appropriate parties Ability to maintain flexibility and adaptability in the workplacePhysical Requirements and Work Environment: Must be able to lift 45 pounds frequently, and up to 70 pounds occasionallyCareers with BriovaRx Infusion Services.
