JOB SUMMARY:This person will be responsible for leading premium and Customer retention forecasting analysis.  He/she will perform financial analysis, reporting of financial information, presentation preparation and ad-hoc projects. Additionally, he/she will reconcile actual results against plan and projections, identifying and explaining variances. Communicate issues to management to mitigate delays, expenses and timing disruptions.





RESPONSIBILITIES:





Forecast, Planning and Analysis



  • Support Strategic Planning, Annual planning, Forecasting and actual reporting processes
  • Maintain and update reports, schedules, and analytical packages
  • Maintain and update transaction and vendor database
  • Manage and performance finance control steps for the key processes
  • Assist in completing auditors' requests
  • Build and update analytics for management presentation
  • Assist in continuously enhancing management expense reporting
  • Assist overhead forecasting and Canada/International allocation calculations
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests




System management and maintenance



  • Manage and perform all processes including control steps related to load of actuals
  • Manage and perform all processes including control steps related to headcount, open positions and temps
  • Maintain allocation factors in the system, update them when required, ensure consistency amongst versions
  • Manage and run processes to allocate expenses and transfer metrics/results between different database, perform balancing steps to ensure data integrity
  • Assist Sox controls
  • Generate journal entries for the accounting team to record allocation results
  • Assist international expense management
  • Update exchange rates in the system for currency conversion























SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:



  • 1-2 years of working experience
  • Proficient Excel skills required. Familiar with Microsoft office suite
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and communication skills
  • Results oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities


















EDUCATION:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar majors
