As our Vice President of Global Consumer Insights for our schools segment, you will utilize a variety of methods to source the insight required to allow Sodexo to better understand the needs, aspirations and intent of our clients and consumers. In addition, you will work closely with our offer development team to help to define offer drivers as well as the best way to communicate offers to build competitive advantage.

Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of marketing / insights expertise within a service organization. The demonstrated ability to deliver results in a highly matrixed, multi-cultural capacity will be required. Digital marketing and Big Data expertise is a huge plus!
Location and Travel
Ideally, the selected candidate for this role will office out of our Headquarters location in Gaithersburg, MD. Alternately, we would be open to considering qualified candidates in a more virtual capacity.
Approximately 20% travel (international and domestic) will be required.

The Global Head of Consumer Insights must develop an understanding of Consumer needs in order to identify the opportunities to create value for / improve the Quality of Life of individuals living in our targeted Client organizations based on internal & external data & knowledge his / her team will collect, produce and analyze; thus contributing to (1) build business cases that will enable the Segment leadership team to pursue the offer development process or not and (2) support the definition of the offer & service requirement briefs and the validation of these briefs from a Consumer perspective.
Overall, the Global Head of Consumer Insights will contribute to the education of the different Segment teams at Global & Regional levels in understanding the characteristics, expectations, needs & demands of our Consumers.
