The Manager, Nurse Call Center will manage our RN's supporting our inbound Call Center. You will manage, coach and mentor nurses. The call center is part of Optum Health Care Decision Support and is a 24/7 inbound call center. The primary hours for this position are Monday - Friday during normal daytime hours but will require evenings, weekends and holidays as required on a rotational basis.
This is a telecommute/work from home position.
Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required.
We are an inbound call center open 24/7 including holidays
Clinical operations across the continuum of care (assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating)
Takes lead role in setting direction and participating in or developing new programs
Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of the team
Ensures team meets established performance metrics and performance guarantees
Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
Current unrestricted RN license in the State of Florida
Multiple state licensure (in addition to Compact License if applicable) or ability to obtain multiple state nursing licenses required
Bilingual Spanish - speaking
3+ years of experience in a leadership role to include team lead, manager, supervisor, etc. where coaching and mentoring others was required
3+ years of experience in a hospital setting, acute care, direct care experience or experience as a telephonic Case Manager / Call Center Nurse for an insurance company
Basic level of experience with Microsoft Word, with the ability to navigate a Windows environment
BSN or greater
Previous experience working with the geriatric population
Home health experience
Case management experience
Previous customer service experience
Previous experience in a telephonic case management role
Reside in a commutable distance (50 miles or 50 minutes) of Miami, FL
