Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer will:

  • Manage routine quality reporting of complaints and quality issues
  • Manage all deviations involving batches and finished goods, including root cause analysis (RCA) investigations
  • Support supplier quality management with audits and technical support of supplier non-conformances and RCAs
  • Support plant audits
  • Support plant quality initiatives and programs for key product areas
  • Provide quality support for color merchandizing and retail services
  • Monitor and disposition product quarantine inventories
  • Participate in product complaint investigations
  • Deliver training on quality systems as needed

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science (or equivalent combination of education and experience); CQE preferred
  • Consumer Products company experience
  • Must have strong background in quality systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, and statistical tools
  • Project management and time management skills
  • Quality training and quality systems experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
