Job Description Summary
As a part-time Energy Efficiency Field Technician, you will be the face of the program. You will meet with homeowners to offer no-cost and low-cost energy efficient equipment, and to promote other program services. Additionally, you will install simple energy-efficient measures such as faucet aerators, low-flow shower heads, LED bulbs, and weather stripping. The Energy Technician will track the measures installed and their energy savings into a tablet computer spreadsheet.

The part-time Energy Technician will also assist with customer intake and scheduling at our Boulder, CO office. While the work area is primarily the Front Range, there will be possible travel all over Colorado.

Please Note the following:

- Bilingual Candidates, specifically those fluent in Spanish are preferred.
- Must successfully pass a drug test and background check prior to hiring.


Job Description
- Install energy-saving measures including light bulbs, programmable thermostats, shower heads, faucet aerators, water heater blankets, and door weather stripping
- Assist in keeping the product inventory site tidy, organized, and safe
- Assist with the inventory reconciliation process
- Drive company car, track mileage, and travel across Colorado as needed
- Promote other program offerings
- Communicate opportunities and issues from homeowners to the program teams with whom you are working
- Manage time well, be a self-starter, meet monthly energy savings and revenue targets with minimal supervision
- Be proficient in computer data entry
- Accept other duties as required

Additional Job Description
- Bilingual, specifically fluent in Spanish is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred 2 years of relevant customer service experience
- Preferred 1-2 years of relevant weatherization or handyman experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to utilize common hand tools
- Ability to measure, cut, and prepare for energy savings installation
- Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs., and to climb stepladder
- Ability to work and fulfill daily requirements with minimal supervision
