Americas Market Intelligence is looking for a skilled and talented Research Analyst and Project Manager to support our growing Payments Practice. To be based in Coral Gables, FL our new research analyst will be responsible for supporting the Senior Director of the Payments Practice and others, in all areas of research, analysis and project management.

With offices in Miami, San Francisco, and across Latin America, Americas Market Intelligence is the leading market intelligence and research firm servicing Latin America ( AMI's Payments Practice has conducted over 200+ engagements in the payments sector analyzing trends in areas such as eCommerce, digital wallets, P2P, remittances, card issuing and acceptance, contactless technology, alternative payment methods, acquiring and processing, B2B payments, etc.

Perform bi/tri-lingual desk research, principally in the payments sector but others as well.
Conduct bi/tri-lingual primary research, including phone interviews, personal interviews and focus groups.
Support the practice leader in the analysis of research results to create actionable intelligence for client deliverables.
Conduct research and support the creation of content for AMI Payments industry thought leadership
Create and edit drafts of deliverables in both English & Spanish.
Perform follow-up as needed.
Administrative support including contact management, database management, event and webinar coordination, etc.
Travel between Miami and San Francisco and to Latin America 20%.


An ideal candidate will have:
3-4 years' work experience in business research, consulting or related field. Candidates with experience in the payments/banking/financial services industry are highly preferred
Experience conducting primary research, especially phone interviews
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Fluent Portuguese is also highly valued
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A curious, investigative, and analytical mindset
Was born in or has studied and worked in Latin America
Has US work credentials
Travel experience across the Americas

BA/BS or equivalent, or higher.
Relevant certifications or qualification welcome.
