THE JOB / Account Director, Payment Services (Latin American Market)

Are you looking for the opportunity to lead a vast portfolio that includes soccer, tennis, music and entertainment properties? Do you know how to devise smart, forward-thinking activation strategy rooted in industry trends? We have a unique opportunity for an Account Director to lead and develop the sponsorship programs for our payment services client in the Latin American market. You'll work alongside the Vice President as the day to day client lead, as well as have property management oversight and run activation programs. You’ll spearhead client consulting services, sponsorships negotiation, activation concept development, implementation and program measurement.


  • You’ll cultivate relationships with current clients
  • Lead the development of customized strategy decks for Latin American markets
  • Be the point person for the creation of activation plans and project management tools
  • Manage onsite activations and make sure our client is being provided all contractual assets and objectives are being met
  • You’ll pitch, present and collaborate on sponsorship strategy with a variety of partners both internal and external
  • Be a forward thinker; anticipating industry trends, compiling brilliant insights and research, and providing competitive analysis/point of views
  • Maintain relationships with outside vendors and properties
  • Produce written communications for various organizations and clients, including business cases, case studies, position papers, etc.
  • Master property guidelines and sponsorship assets in order to assist the markets deftly

  • You have a passion for and expertise in sports, music, entertainment and are eager to stay up to date with developments in each industry
  • You should have a minimum 6-7ish years in a traditional sponsorship marketing role; agency experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or a related field
  • You are bi-lingual and can speak, read, and write in Spanish with a fluent proficiency as well as English
  • Your understanding of sports/entertainment, especially as it relates to LATAM, has no equal
  • As a born leader, you appreciate the finer points of coaching, guiding and mentoring staff and teams 
  • You're the authority on developing and implementing effective and strategic marketing plans
  • You're a natural communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Your organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, are extraordinary
  • Not sure we have to say it, but we will - computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are important
  • You’re someone who loves working in sponsorship since it requires you to travel, work weekends and untraditional hours (approximately 15% travel)
